Mark Williams and Pat Bouton
Our History
Mark Williams founded the company in 1982 while attending MTSU (Middle Tennessee State University) in Tennessee. Our original company was named, Services Unlimited. We promoted and advertised window washing and various odd jobs. What initially began as a summer job, continued to grow each day. As part of one of Mark’s courses in college, he developed a more extensive line of services through a detailed business plan. Soon after graduating, Mark launched a multi-service concept and expanded operations into a successful business venture.
Each year, the company added services and continued to earn a reputation for quality service. In 1984, Pat Bouton joined the company as a house painter. Together they continued the success and in 1990, the company gained its Tennessee State Contractors License- the company became Remodeling Services Unlimited (RSU).
As the remodeling industry grew for years, at a very quick pace, the consumer confidence did not grow. We knew with our reputation and systems that we had developed in a complex industry that we should grow the RSU brand and reputation with great business owners like ourselves – FRANCHISEES that share the same values.
RSU Contractors — Our New Brand
RSU Contractors the new brand evolved from our current company’s name Remodeling Services Unlimited. RSU gives a unique branding opportunity that allows us to gain a Registered Trademark and the opportunity to establish us as the “Brand of Excellence”.
The RSU CONTRACTOR brand stands for Quality Work and Professional Service to improve homes, businesses and communities. Pride in our services and work is something that we require of our TEAMS and the brand each and every day. Now we look to expand this operation across Middle Tennessee and every community in the United States.
Remodeling the Remodeler – Re-Branding
Over the last 7 months we have documented and modified the companies 28 year history and have centralized this process into the RSU Contractors Command Center Management Program. So not only will Clients see a new look but a newly outfitted and updated Service TEAM. The current Company is currently undergoing a complete make-over. In Marketing its called Re-Branding! We compare it to our own Whole House Remodel.
Remodeling Services Unlimited, Inc. the original Company shall continue operations with Pat Bouton as President. The Company shall continue to serve all our existing customers with our same TEAM of Professionals. Currently the Company serves select areas in Middle Tennessee. It’s the same phone numbers, e-mail, office and faces. It’s the same Team with a new coach, a new uniform and an improved game plan to serve our clients!
Franchising Opportunities for Middle Tennessee
Franchise Contractors LLC. Is the Franchise Operating Company for the RSU Contractors Brand. Mark Williams is President and now focused to grow the “Brand of Opportunity”. The initial focus is to develop new Franchisees in Middle Tennessee Communities in 2010. With our franchisees, we will continue to enhance our systems, grow into more communities and make a difference not only in franchising but in the remodeling and maintenance industries and most importantly our Clients!

Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM except on major holidays. One of our many advantages is having a knowledgeable person answering our phones and facilitating communication with our field personnel during this time.
