• What makes this item green?  Manufacturers may use a green color in advertising, but dissect what really makes it a green product – question speculative claims.
• Green is a Renewable resource with minimum costs
• Harvesting impact – It may be green but do they destroy surrounding conditions to get to it?
• Transportation costs and environmental impact to bring materials to market and to your project
• Local social and economic considerations.  Green is local jobs.
