RSU Contractors completely restored the MTSU President Home ca 1910. We added temporary supports then completely rebuilt the turn-of-the-century porch. Using modern day technologies with regards to structure and old-time carpenter talent to match skills many times forgotten. It took three years to build this masterpiece in 1910 and RSU three months to restore its exterior, resolve structural issues, and remodel many parts of the home interior.
Green Solutions — Salvaging and restoring our historical buildings is a very important green idea to keep our history alive. Historical renovations can include using newer and green products and ideas while keeping the character and charm of the past.
