Remodeling Services Unlimited is completely restoring the MTSU President’s Home ca. 1910.
It took three years to build this masterpiece and Remodeling Services Unlimited three months to restore its exterior, resolve structural issues, and remodel many parts of the home’s interior. |
We added height to this room by raising the roof on this antebellum home allowing extra space to give the home owner a modern entertainment room with deck.
On the exterior, special attention was given to detail in matching the poplar lap siding, fish-scale siding, and trim boards. |

We added temporary supports then completely rebuilt this turn-of-the-century porch. Using modern day technologies with regards to structure and old-time carpenter talent to match skills many times forgotten.
Structurally, we built a new floor system over a sagging interior attic area which was discovered to have survived a fire many years ago.
