Our Story
What began in 1982 as a college student’s window washing “business” has grown into one of Middle Tennessee’s premier home remodeling companies! Originally named “Services Unlimited,” founder Mark Williams created a business plan for his fledgling company as part of a class at MTSU, and used that plan as a basis to grow his business. Pat Bouton joined Services Unlimited as a house painter in 1984. In 1990 the company became Remodeling Services Unlimited and this became the acronym for RSU Contractors, now one of the biggest 100 remodeling companies in the nation!
At RSU, we credit our growth to our commitment to quality, excellent customer service and our aim to remove some of the stress from the home renovation process – something our many customers in Nashville, Brentwood and the surrounding areas have grown to expect and appreciate. RSU employees share that same commitment to quality and customer service; it’s more than a job – every person at RSU is part of the team.
As a team, RSU strives for one thing: providing a superior remodeling experience with the highest quality work. We know that “quality” can sound a little cliché, but it’s a word we take seriously. From your initial consultation with our design expert to your final walkthrough, the focus on quality will be apparent every step of the way.
A lot’s changed since RSU was founded in 1982! We’ve weathered six presidents, 9/11, the 2008 mortgage crisis, and ups and downs that we never imagined. What hasn’t changed is our commitment to you – our valued customer – and our commitment to superior remodeling in Nashville, Brentwood and the surrounding Middle Tennessee area.
